Events

Events play a crucial role in our success by offering diverse opportunities to connect, communicate, and engage with our expanding community in educational, informative, and entertaining ways. From intimate free lectures featuring various ethnic leaders to large-scale appearances by internationally renowned celebrities and world leaders, each event provides both education and a respite from the persistent antisemitism faced by our community.

These events symbolize our commitment to protecting what we cherish in Canada: the freedom and right to gather peacefully and express our views in a safe environment, free from discrimination or violence.

THE DAY AFTER With Mosab Hassan Yousef (The Green Prince/Son Of Hamas)

What happens when your father is a founding leader of Hamas, and you choose to renounce violence as a way of life?
Mosab Hassan Yousef faced this profound question. His life has become the answer.
He was born in Ramallah in the West Bank to Hamas leader Sheikh Hassan Yousef. His father established the political wing of Hamas, known as a global terrorist organization responsible for countless suicide bombings and other deadly attacks against Israel, including the attack on October 7th, 2023.
Mosab was deeply involved in the movement and spent over 27 months imprisoned by Shin Bet, Israel’s intelligence service. During his incarceration, he witnessed Hamas’s brutal treatment of its own people, sparking a reevaluation of his true adversaries—was it Israel, Hamas, or America?
Mosab’s debut book, Son of Hamas, became a New York Times international bestseller and inspired the documentary The Green Prince, which premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and won Best Documentary. The film also received accolades at the Moscow International Film Festival and the Israeli Film Festival. His latest work, From Hamas to America , published in August 2024 by Simon and Schuster, provides deeper insights.
In this book, Mosab divulges critical information about Hamas and shares his secret role, the painful separation from his family and homeland, and his perilous decisions aimed at achieving lasting peace in the region. He has addressed the United Nations and engaged with global leaders, offering a unique perspective from within Hamas.
Mosab’s primary purpose is to provide a voice for freedom and peace and bring hope to an entire generation of those who, without a new way of thinking, are destined to follow in the destructive patterns of the past.

About this singing duo
Yonina” (a combination of our names -Yoni and Nina Tokayer) began from the moment we met, on a beautiful balcony in Tzfat, Israel. We had both been pursuing music our entire lives, and once we met we began dreaming about making music together. We are an Israeli-American musical duo who first started sharing our music through weekly home videos posted to social media. Since we first began posting our videos in 2016, our music has reached millions of viewers, with the record being our cover of “One Day” which had over 40 million views from around the globe. Ever since, we’ve been performing throughout Israel, the US and Europe, in both large-scale concerts and private events.
